CHURCH CONVERSION

To say we were excited to work on this project was an understatement!

This Beautiful church in the heart of Rockhampton was to be renovated internally to be converted to a 3 bedroom home for our clients.

The conversion didn’t come without it’s challenges, being Heritage listed, we had to take great care in preserving the fabrication of the building ensuring that any alterations made to the building could be reversed for future restoration if needed.

Respecting the original building skin, we designed a minimalist 3-bedroom layout that celebrated the fabrication of the Church, but created a modern interior bedroom zone and kitchen.
